Job Summary

Job Title: Foreclosure Paralegal

Location: Manhattan New York City
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days per week in-office)

Salary Range: $75000-$95000/year DOE

We are seeking an experienced Foreclosure Paralegal to support our attorneys in all stages of foreclosure matters. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in foreclosure and/or bankruptcy law and thrives in a fast-paced detail-oriented environment. This role requires strong organizational skills excellent communication and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

This firm is located on Madison Avenue in New York City NY.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare review and file foreclosure pleadings motions affidavits and related documents
Conduct title updates docket searches and review loan and property documentation

Assist attorneys throughout all phases of foreclosure proceedings
Draft and file bankruptcy-related documents (proofs of claim motions etc.) when applicable
Manage case files track deadlines and maintain accurate records in the firms systems
Communicate with clients courts opposing counsel and third-party vendors
Perform legal research as needed
Ensure all filings comply with federal state and local foreclosure rules

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience in foreclosure and/or bankruptcy law

Paralegal certification preferred
Knowledge of NY foreclosure procedures and court filing systems (NYSCEF/eCourts)
Strong drafting proofreading and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Professional communication and client-service mindset
Ability to work in-office three days per week in Manhattan
