Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce or equivalent / or willingness to work towards Level 3/4
Experience in Years Desired (not essential):
Experience with challenging children in a residential setting

This service is hiring 3 x Residential Care Workers
Number of Beds: 2-bed home with 2:1 staffing OR 2:1 staffing arrangements
Type of YPs: EBD challenging behaviour emotional difficulties
Ratio of staff to children: High staffing ratios (2:1)
As this position is a Residential Support Worker role the following must be added:
Do NOT apply for this role if any of the following apply to you:
You do not hold a Full UK Driving Licence and do not have a car.
You only hold a Level 3 in Health & Social Care this is not deemed equivalent.
You have only Healthcare NHS CQC or Nursery Practitioner experience.
You require sponsorship no sponsorship available.
Individuals with only CQC experience and who have not worked in an Ofsted Registered Childrens Home will not be considered.

Can confidently manage behaviours using PACE and Team Teach
Is emotionally resilient and committed to safeguarding
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
Can work a rolling rota including weekends bank holidays and sleep-ins
Is open honest compassionate and has a growth mindset
Is willing to undergo a DBS check
Can contribute positively to team meetings planning and daily routines
Is able to support education activities emotional regulation and daily living needs
