About Us:
ENTRUST Canada is an engineering consulting firm with offices in Calgary and Regina that provides design and engineering services to the electric power delivery industry. Our expertise includes all aspects of Transmission Substation and Distribution systems for voltages ranging from 4160V to 500kV.
Opportunity:
ENTRUST Canada is currently seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to join our team in Calgary to support the project management group. We offer a flexible work environment with a highly experienced technical team where you will be offered guidance and hands on training and continuously challenged in all aspects of the project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage smaller engineering projects along with the technical lead
- Coordinate with project engineers subcontractors and other business units
- Create client specific weekly and monthly reports
- Regularly review and update project costs accruals and forecasts.
- Create project plans and update throughout project
- Request quotes and subcontractor purchase orders
- Review and approve project invoices
- Attend and record action items for project meetings
- Assist Project Manager when assigned to larger projects
Qualifications:
- Past experience with project coordination or management
- Minimum 5 years work experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a wide spectrum of clients
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives
- Positive attitude strong client focus and results driven
- Experience in the utility industry
Preferred:
- Experience working in Transmission utility projects
- All rounded and flexible individual with the ability to take ownership of projects and tasks
