As a Mechanical Fitter at Visy youll be responsible for ensuring safe efficient and cost-effective operations by maintaining equipment supporting your team and driving continuous improvement. Youll also play a key role in upholding product quality and collaborating across departments to deliver operational targets.

• Perform planned maintenance using CMMS systems.
• Monitor plant performance and ensure operational efficiency.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and troubleshoot issues.
• Carry out fabrication and welding tasks as required.
• Plant to compliant relevant OHS&E legislation.
• Ensure appropriate compliance audits are conducted and issues arising from these audits to be rectified in a timely manner and documented to ensure zero non-conformance.

What you will bring to the team:

• Trade qualified
• Proven experience in maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Forklift license (essential).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have own tools.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
