EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Location: New York NY

Our client an international AmLaw 50 law firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its premier Employment Litigation Practice in NY. This is an exceptional opportunity for a mid-level associate to handle complex employment disputes and provide strategic advice to leading clients in the financial services and asset management industries.

Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
Active Bar Admission in New York in good standing
3-4 years of substantiveemployment litigationandcounseling experience
Experience litigating employment matters and advising on employment issues including discrimination retaliation restrictive covenants and executive employment agreements
Experience with clients in the alternative asset management industry including hedge funds and private equity funds is strongly preferred
Exceptional writing research and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to interface directly with clients and deliver practical business-focused advice
Strong work ethic professionalism and commitment to superior client service

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support complex employment litigation matters in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies
Draft pleadings motions and discovery materials and participate in depositions hearings and settlement negotiations
Advise employers on workplace law issues including compliance investigations risk management and policy development
Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to address employment issues arising in transactions or corporate governance matters
Conduct in-depth legal research and provide guidance on evolving employment law trends and regulations

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $260000-$310000annually as determined by experience and market factors
