Our client an international AmLaw 50 law firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its premier Employment Litigation Practice in NY. This is an exceptional opportunity for a mid-level associate to handle complex employment disputes and provide strategic advice to leading clients in the financial services and asset management industries.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in New York in good standing
- 3-4 years of substantiveemployment litigationandcounseling experience
- Experience litigating employment matters and advising on employment issues including discrimination retaliation restrictive covenants and executive employment agreements
- Experience with clients in the alternative asset management industry including hedge funds and private equity funds is strongly preferred
- Exceptional writing research and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to interface directly with clients and deliver practical business-focused advice
- Strong work ethic professionalism and commitment to superior client service
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support complex employment litigation matters in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies
- Draft pleadings motions and discovery materials and participate in depositions hearings and settlement negotiations
- Advise employers on workplace law issues including compliance investigations risk management and policy development
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to address employment issues arising in transactions or corporate governance matters
- Conduct in-depth legal research and provide guidance on evolving employment law trends and regulations

- Base Salary: $260000-$310000annually as determined by experience and market factors
