About the role
The role is primarily responsible for leading and supporting the implementation of work health and safety initiatives and programs with workplace managers. The role has strong relationships with its customers and collaborates with key internal and external partners to deliver timely efficient services and advice to support customer needs and meet service delivery requirements. This role has a focus on supporting workplaces across the state to provide a safe working and learning environment for staff and students and assisting the department meet its legislative responsibilities and strategic priorities.
