We are currently seeking a motivated energetic and inspiring Female PE Teacher to join a well-regarded and high-performing secondary school in West Yorkshire. This is a full-time fixed-term position starting January 2026 (or earlier for the right candidate) offering an excellent opportunity to teach within a successful and well-resourced PE Department that places great emphasis on student participation health and achievement.

About the Role
The school is seeking a Female PE Teacher due to the requirement to teach girls physical education. Responsibilities will include:
Teaching PE across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering high-quality engaging lessons that promote fitness skill development and confidence
Leading girls PE sessions teams and extracurricular activities
Assessing and tracking student progress providing constructive feedback
Contributing to curriculum development and department initiatives
Supporting school sports events fixtures tournaments and enrichment opportunities
Being an active member of a supportive and collaborative faculty
This fixed-term contract may be extended or lead to future opportunities within the school.
Experience and Qualifications
Degree in Physical Education or a related discipline
PGCE with QTS
Strong practical knowledge of a range of sports
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
Commitment to safeguarding and professional standards
Salary
Paid to scale MPS/UPS (depending on experience).
