Job Overview

Pulse is currently seeking an experienced Band 8A Clinical Pharmacist to join the pharmacy team at a hospital in West London. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide advanced clinical pharmacy services across inpatient areas ensuring safe and effective medicines management within a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in optimising patient care supporting clinical governance and contributing to service development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver specialist clinical pharmacy services across designated wards.
Provide expert advice on medicines optimisation and prescribing practices.
Support audits clinical governance and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Extensive experience in clinical pharmacy within an NHS setting.
Strong knowledge of medicines management and clinical governance.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
