Key Responsibilities -
Install route pull dress label and terminate CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6a and fiber cabling in commercial and healthcare environments.

Perform cable runs through ceilings walls conduit J-hooks cable tray and other pathways.

Install and mount devices such as wireless access points network hardware patient-room devices and telecom equipment.

Support basic testing toning and troubleshooting of cable infrastructure.

Work in both occupied hospital areas and new construction sites ensuring minimal disruption to staff patients and clinical operations.

Follow infection control guidelines safety procedures and facility access protocols at all times.
-
Collaborate with project managers lead technicians and hospital staff to complete work efficiently and professionally.
-
Maintain clean work areas accurate labeling and high-quality workmanship throughout all phases of installation.
Preferred Experience -
2 5 years of experience in commercial low-voltage cabling environments.

Solid understanding of EIA/TIA standards and best practices for structured cabling.
-
Experience installing cable through conduit sleeves and fire-stopping assemblies.
-
Ability to read basic floor plans and interpret pathways.
-
Experience with basic tools (toner tester ladders drills fish tape/poles etc.).
-
Prior experience in healthcare environments is a plus but not required.
-
Experience with nurse call systems (Rauland Hillrom etc.) or life safety devices is a plus - training available.
Requirements -
Ability to work professionally in active hospital areas and interact respectfully with staff patients and visitors.

Must pass standard background checks and meet hospital access requirements (badging PPE etc.).

Ability to lift 50 lbs climb ladders and work in ceilings or other confined spaces.
-
Reliable transportation and ability to report to multiple job sites as scheduled.

Personal hand tools for low-voltage work required (list available upon request).
Soft Skills -
Strong customer-service mindset; comfortable working around clinical staff and patients.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
