The Global Fund Services business is one of the fastest growing areas in Northern Trust offering a comprehensive suite of fund products and services to Asset Managers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team delivering end-to-end NAV Oversight and fund accounting services for Northern Trust clients.
- Manage consultants to meet daily weekly and monthly deadlines.
- Resolve complex client reporting/accounting issues and act as Fund Accounting SME in client meetings.
- Provide leadership foster teamwork and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
- Partner across regions to align on requirements and expectations.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs regulatory standards and internal controls.
- Oversee staffing resource allocation and operational performance.
- Represent Fund Accounting Management on enterprise projects and initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- Extensive fund accounting experience within asset management custodian banks or third-party administrators.
- Strong leadership and team management skills including virtual teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements control processes and multi-product structures (e.g. OEICs ACS IT AIFs TTFs).
- Proven ability to deliver BAU and drive operational improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritize meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Client-focused mindset with problem-solving and influencing skills.
- Experience participating in enterprise-wide projects and client meetings as SME.
