The Credit & Fraud Risk (CFR) makes the right credit and fraud risk decisions that uphold operational excellence drive growth and accelerate innovation. They are a vigorous and powerful resource for analytics.

How will you make an impact in this role

The role of a Risk Manager will be essential to business and customer decisions we make big and small!

As a key member of our Risk Management team you will have the power to identify develop and implement strategies and capabilities for risk assessments.

By using our rich data and collaborating with other departments such as Compliance Legal and Data Privacy you will manage the Net Loss Provision by ensuring effective execution of strategies and policies for the consumer card businesses in the Nordics

This will require a good understanding drivers of the credit indicators and the implications on trends/forecast and monitoring the true experience of customers in the market diagnosing problems and seeing opportunities for improvement and then working with partners to implement.

Our risk colleagues are spread across the world and a great opportunity to learn and deploy standard processes from other regions. You will implement risk-driven strategies to profitably grow billed business reduce unnecessary point of sale disruptions and improve the customer experience in close collaboration with central Risk teams that develop state of art decision science tools and risk capabilities. Given the strong business focus on digital youll be working at the forefront of digital innovation to realize new strategies that drive customer acquisition and engagement.

It is a prerequisite to have strong local knowledge of the Nordics (Sweden primarily) to ensure risk strategies are tailored to regional market dynamics regulatory environments and customer behaviors. Understanding local credit indicators and consumer trends is essential for diagnosing issues identifying opportunities and implementing effective solutions for the region.

This is both an exciting and rewarding role that offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across the Credit Risk life-cycle and to interact with a wide range of business partners across all levels within the organization.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in business finance statistics economics mathematics or equivalent experience in a similar business
  • Fluent proficiency in Swedish and English
  • Experience in developing strategic insights demonstrating data analytics
  • Experience in SQL Python or similar
  • Deep understanding/experience of risk management principles
  • Experience in unsecured consumer lending or in the payments industry


    Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong thought leadership and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter with an ability to work in a dynamic fast changing environment with a strong attention to detail communicate effectively and work well in a cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a matrix environment
  • While not a requirement we value candidates who have demonstrated leadership capabilitieswhether through managing teams or driving initiatives. If you bring that experience it will be considered a strong asset.
