Our client is a modern alcohol retail and distribution company offering premium wines spirits and beverages through both physical and online channels. They are looking to hire a Retail and Distribution Operations Manger.
Job Summary
The Retail & Distribution Operations Manager will oversee daily retail operations manage wholesale product distribution and maintain accurate inventory across all product categories. The ideal candidate must be highly organized proactive and live on Lagos Island.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the retail store and ensure exceptional customer experience.
- Oversee wholesale order processing and coordinate dispatch and delivery logistics.
- Monitor retail and wholesale inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control.
- Lead stock counts product reconciliation and restocking processes.
- Supervise and train retail staff on customer service product knowledge and sales practices.
- Track sales and distribution performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
- Ensure compliance with alcohol regulations safety policies and company standards.
- Maintain accurate POS usage online order fulfillment and pricing updates.
Job Requirements:
- 23 years experience in retail FMCG or distribution operations.
- Experience handling inventory stock movement and last-mile dispatch.
- Strong leadership communication and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management tools.
- Must reside in Lekki and environs.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
