Purpose of Job
Providingtechnical planned and reactivesupportandassistanceofengineeringteamsensuring operational and compliance standard are met and exceeded.
Therolewill coverHV/LVandMEPstrategiesandthe continual developmentandimplementationof company IT systems. The role will also include site mobilisation actions and support function for project tasks and the wider professional services functions.
Key Responsibility
- Responsiblefortechnicalsupervisiontoensurethatalltechnicalservicescommitmentsare met.
- ResponsibleforHV/LVactivitiesensuringfullcompliancewithBGISHV/LVrules.
- ResponsibleforensuringthatStatutory &Codecomplianceofsitesisadheredtobythe local management team and supported by specialist when required
- EnsurethatRiskManagementisbeingdeliveredinaconsistentmanner.
- Ensureareasofteamdevelopmentarerecognisedandactionplaninplace
- HighVoltageappointedengineer.
- Mechanicalappointedengineer.
- ConfinedSpaceappointedengineer
- UpdatestotheSSOWmechanicalrules
- UpdatestotheSSOWHV/LVrules
- Providetechnicalsupporttolocalteams.
- EnsurestaffingstructuresandcompetenciesoperateacrossallsitesincludingHV/APs present always where required.
- InvestigateandassistwithRCAsonmajorOperationalincidents.
- Attendoperationalmeetingsasrequired.
- ActivelypromotemanagementsystemsandprocessesthathavebeendevelopedforBGIS across all contracts to ensure consistency.
- Attendregularmeetingswithsitemanagementtodiscussanylocalissuesorconcerns.
- Communicateanycontractualconcernswithmanagementtoensureresolution.
- Designdevelopandimplementbusinessleadingconcepts.
- Promoteandmaintainthecorevaluesof BGIS.
- Commercial Awareness and supply chain management understanding
- Supporting with raising quotes POs invoices and budgeting and contracts.
Accountabilities
- ReportingtotheOperations Manager.
- Workingcollaborativelywiththetechnicalservicesteam.
- Responsible for managing a shift team and managing the shift rota.
