What Youll Be Doing:
- Supervise lessons across a range of subjects and year groups in a vibrant secondary school environment
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain engaged and focused
- Manage behaviour in line with school policies promoting respect and a calm learning atmosphere
- Support students with their learning encouraging participation and resilience
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and behaviour during cover lessons
- Step up when needed from mentoring small groups to supporting with intervention and enrichment sessions
Who Were Looking For:
- Graduates in Education Psychology English Maths Science Humanities or related fields
- Confident communicators with the presence to lead a classroom teaching experience not required!
- Flexible reliable and calm under pressure
- Passionate about working with young people and making a positive impact on their education
- Experience in a school youth work tutoring or coaching environment is a bonus (but not essential)
- Willing to learn full training and ongoing CPD provided
