As an Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit and accounting services to a varied client base while working closely with both colleagues and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the planning execution and completion of audit engagements
- Preparing statutory accounts management accounts and other financial reports
- Carrying out audit testing and risk assessments in line with regulatory standards
- Building strong client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact for queries
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance client service delivery
- Supporting senior colleagues on ad-hoc assignments and project work
- Staying up to date with changes in accounting and auditing standards
Requirements
- Part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) with a solid foundation in audit and accounts
- Experience within a professional practice environment
- Strong knowledge of audit principles and financial reporting requirements
- Excellent attention to detail analytical ability and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively both independently and in a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software packages
