About Raise

Our best-practice early intervention mentoring program is proven to create lasting impact. By matching trained and trusted volunteer mentors with teenagers who need extra support we help young people feel heard valued and hopeful for the future.

About the Role

Were looking for a strategic and interpersonal Data and Youth Insights Director to help shape the future of youth mentoring through data driven insights.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development and implementation of Raises data and youth engagement strategy ensuring they inform decision-making at every level.
  • Oversee data governance analytics and reporting frameworks to maintain integrity and compliance.
  • Translate complex data into meaningful insights that drive program improvement and organisational growth.
  • Develop strategies that amplify young peoples perspectives in program improvement and organisational decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to share insights and influence sector-wide change.
  • Champion a culture of data literacy and evidence-based practice across the organisation.

About you

  • Post graduate degree in social or behavioural sciences evaluation health sciences or related discipline with strong research/evaluation components.
  • Prior experience in a similar leadership role and proven experience designing and delivering evaluation frameworks and projects end to end ideally in youth education mental health or community settings.
  • Advanced skills in qualitative and quantitative research data analysis and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a small but strong team and build organisational capability in data and reporting.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on impact.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate data into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
