Black Duck Software Inc. is seeking an experienced marketer who will support our channel and field marketing programs in Japan. This position based in our Tokyo Japan office will report into the Senior Manager of Marketing for Japan and will work closely with the regional field sales and channel sales and Japan partner organizations.
The Japan Marketing manager helps support demand generation brand awareness channel/partner marketing and lead nurturing in Japan. This includes planning and executing events webinars and content syndication creating and localizing marketing collaterals (brochures white papers etc.) managing existing customers and prospect database and working with our partners/partner sales to support channel success. The candidate must have marketing communication and vendor management experience as well as fluency in Japanese and business-level written and verbal English skills.
We are looking for a collaborative self-starter who has a passion and experience to work with the direct and channel team teams to help to support the rapid growth of our business in Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with regional global marketing team to develop and optimize marketing plans to support direct and channel sales objectives
Help manage local social media accounts and develop related content
Assist with web page content updates and email programs via marketing automation and CRM tools
Support paid search and web advertising programs
Coordinate reporting for Black Duck global channel marketing activities
Assist with managing regional MDF budgets to enable execution of channel marketing plans and deliver reports on program results
Consistently communicate channel and regional marketing plans and results across marketing and sales teams.
Measure campaign impact through Salesforce reporting evaluate channel campaign ROI and present recommendations for improvement.
Assist with planning and analysis of individual partners and overall partner program
Help develop and manage partner campaign kits co-branded assets and other partner-focused collateral as needed
Collaborate with third-partner vendors as needed for promotional items logistics etc.
Develop strong relationships with marketing teams at our partners to support key marketing initiatives
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of B2B field/channel marketing experience. Cybersecurity is a plus.
Self-motivated able to work autonomously and communicate effectively.
Team player and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments
Attention to detail highly organized and strong project management skills
Fluent in Japanese. Business level written and verbal in English (TOEIC 800 or above preferable)
Data analysis experience. Familiarity with CRM preferred.
PRM experience is a plus how to build campaigns dashboards and update pages on the Impartner platforms or similar
