Job Summary

LCOR is currently seeking an Experienced Service Technician to join our team at Morse Apartments in Washington DC. The Service Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community.

Successful Candidates should possess the following job requirements:

1 to 3 years experience in Property Management.
Working knowledge of HVAC plumbing electrical fire protection elevators and energy management systems
Excellent Customer Service Skills.
Experience using Yardi or other Property Management Software
Must be able to lift 25-100 lbs. on a regular basis.
Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Must be available to assist in after-hours emergency situations.
Must be available for night/weekend call duty.
Must be able to work during inclement weather.
Inspect property and report any safety hazards or needed repairs to Maintenance Supervisor.
Assist with hazardous weather problems fires floods freezing temperatures snow removal etc.
Must accompany vendors in occupied units for services including but not limited to pest control property inspections etc.
Assist office staff with delivery of resident notices.
Must be willing to work weekends.

Must have the knowledge and ability to perform the following duties:

Plumbing/Electrical skills is a must
High Rise Experience preferred
Repair/replace locks smoke alarms
Appliance repairs
Roofing inspection/minor roof repairs
HVAC repairs - Active HVAC Certification & experience is a must
