We are looking for a Scrum Master to guide a multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality applications and digital solutions within an innovative and fast-evolving IT landscape.
In this role you are the engine behind a smooth transparent and sustainable delivery process. You help the team grow safeguard agile principles and support the organisation in its transition toward greater agility.
Your Responsibilities
1. Servant Leader
- Remove impediments to ensure the team can perform at its best.
- Proactively identify and manage dependencies risks and obstacles.
- Create a safe environment where team members can communicate openly and learn from mistakes.
2. Facilitator & Process Guardian
- Organise and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups Planning Refinement Review Retrospective).
- Ensure the team adheres to agile principles and that processes are followed and optimised when needed.
- Support Product Owners with backlog refinement prioritisation and improving story quality.
3. Delivery Owner
- Monitor end-to-end progress and ensure efficient high-quality delivery.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align expectations and maintain clear communication.
4. Coach & Motivator
- Guide the team in their professional growth and encourage a culture of feedback openness and continuous improvement.
- Support the broader organisational agile transformation.
- Inspire motivate and connect people during moments of discussion or change.
5. Communicator & Change Agent
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders management and other teams.
- Challenge processes constructively and help initiate meaningful improvements.
- Bring clarity and transparency in complex situations.
Qualifications :
Languages
- Bilingual Dutch French is essential; you can support teams and stakeholders fluently in both languages.
- Very good command of English.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors or masters degree preferably in IT Technology or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience including at least 2 years as a Scrum Master.
- Experience in large organisations or complex IT environments is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Understanding of software development testing and/or infrastructure management.
- You embody the Scrum values: commitment focus openness respect and courage.
- Excellent coaching communication and facilitation skills.
- Analytical structured and able to maintain an overview.
- A team player with curiosity drive and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Able to question existing processes and support improvement initiatives.
