Reporting to the Sr. Club Director & Regional Sales Director the Regional Sales Manager will play a critical role in supporting clubs and regions across the business by enhancing the effectiveness and performance of Membership Advisors. This role is primarily responsible for coaching and managing sales and new membership performance of Equinox Membership Advisors in their assigned clubs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage a team of Membership Advisors
- Manage and oversee the sales performance of a team of Membership Sales Advisors across multiple Equinox clubs
- Work in assigned clubs and maintain a daily rotation across assigned clubs and with Membership Sales Advisors teams
- Monitor daily activities and productivity engage with assigned Membership Sales Advisors to address gaps
- Hold Membership Sales Advisors accountable for performing to daily weekly and monthly targets
- Create a culture of close out every day bring a sense of urgency to target achievement motivate performance celebrate success
Coach and develop sales talent
- Collaborate with General Managers and corporate on hiring onboarding and performance management
- Collaborate with L&D on Membership Sales Advisors skill development
- Action performance plans for low performers
- Eliminate Membership Sales Advisors time sinks and adjudicate issues
Pay Range: $ annually; additional bonus opportunities
Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully an individual should meet the following minimum requirements.
- BA/MS Degree preferred
- Proven record of experience in a sales management capacity with strong understanding of Equinoxs internal sales systems (Engage MoSo etc.) and processes
- Understanding of how to execute the Membership Sales Advisor role at a high level (consistent productivity)
- Understanding of activities driving new member acquisition (frequency type quality sequence)
- Ability to coach and direct Membership Sales Advisors to execute activities correlated with new member activities
- Ability to differentiate coaching and management style for new emerging Membership Sales Advisors and established highly productive Membership Sales Advisors
- Metrics oriented ability to analyze team performance observed gaps understand root causes and action interventions
- Ability to utilize new techniques ideas and problem solve
- High energy motivational leader
- Ability to travel within assigned Market Area/Region
- Possess honesty and personal integrity
- Enthusiastic energetic personable and friendly
- Passionate intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry
- Ambitious and driven with a willingness to be a team player in a high-paced sales environment
- Ability to work evenings weekends and holidays
- Computer literate
- Excellent time management organizational and follow-up skills
