- Manage the daily operations of the practice including patient scheduling/registration medical records data entry cash posting daily bank deposit activity office maintenance and computer systems.
- Supervise and develop medical office personnel to ensure maximum efficiency in practice operations including staff selection onboarding/training scheduling and other personnel related activity.
- Ensure practice is providing the appropriate level of patient service including the resolution of patient concerns/issues.
- Manage implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Oversee compliance related activity.
- Provide additional administrative support to the physicians through the completion of assigned tasks.
Qualifications :
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to multitask.
- Effective personnel management including training staff and delegating duties.
- Thorough knowledge of HIPAA OSHA and other relevant medical practice regulations.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hands on approach to team building and willingness to work hard.
Job Type:
- Full-time: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- Travel between two office locations (80% Miami/Kendall and 20% Miami Lakes)
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience as an Office Manager in a medical office setting.
- 1-2 years experience in Dermatology preferred but not required.
- Experience with medical software and knowledge of medical billing and coding process.
- Proven experience building office culture and cross functional teams to enhance patient experience and practice growth.
Education:
- Bachelors degree required OR work experience equivalency (3 years medical practice management experience)
