Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - Geriatric Medicine

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct history and physical examinations on new participants and perform periodic reassessments.
- Develop and implement individualized medical treatment plans.
- Evaluate applicants to the PACE Organization and assist in the Intake and Assessment process.
- Discuss medical conditions and prognosis with participants and their caregivers.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop treatment programs for participants.
- Contribute to leadership planning to achieve operational goals.
- Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary team.
- Educate participants and families on health maintenance and chronic conditions.
- Supervise the interdisciplinary health care and treatment program.
- Perform physical examinations and record diagnostic tests systematically.
- Participate in provider on-call rotation as required.
- Manage changing priorities according to participant needs.
Qualifications:
- Current and active plenary physician license in Massachusetts.
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice (Board Certification in Geriatrics preferred).
- Experience or additional qualifications in geriatrics (preferred).
- Valid DEA Registration.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Minimum of one year experience working with frail or elderly populations.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Current and active plenary physician license to practice in Massachusetts - REQUIRED
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice - REQUIRED
- Board Certification in Geriatrics - PREFERRED
- DEA Registration - REQUIRED
