Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patients vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and consultations
- Provide post-anesthesia care and manage recovery
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia care provided
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Stay updated on the latest anesthesiology practices and guidelines
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing with a focus on Anesthesia
- Active CRNA certification and state licensure
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience in various anesthesia techniques and procedures
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
Schedule: 8 or 10-hour shifts Monday-Friday
Weeknight and weekend call
Shifts available at multiple hospitals
Skillsets Required: Spinal regional epidural OB neurosurgical spine complex vascular (except open heart) complex orthopedics vent management central and arterial line insertion
Must be board-certified
