Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $60 - $63 / hour
Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) supports daily clinical operations staff supervision and regulatory compliance to ensure high-quality patient care. This role assists the Director of Nursing provides leadership to nursing teams and helps manage HR functions and emergency response activities.
Responsibilities
Oversee and adjust nursing schedules to maintain proper coverage.
Monitor clinical quality performance and compliance; implement improvements.
Train coach and supervise nursing staff to meet care standards.
Support hiring evaluations coaching and disciplinary actions.
Respond to urgent issues including allegations of abuse neglect or emergency service involvement.
Communicate daily with DON/Administrator; serve as acting DON when needed.
Provide on-unit support and participate in AMS and leadership initiatives.
Maintain required credentials AZ RN license Fingerprint Clearance Card and TB compliance.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership/supervisory experience.
Active RN license in Arizona.
Strong clinical skills leadership ability and sound judgment.
