The Visa North America Value Added Services (VAS) Sales Engineering team is seeking a Sales Engineering Manager with proven technical acumen in an Issuer Processing environment. A successful candidate must be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as possessing an exemplary record of client facing interactions.
The Sales Engineering Manager must possess and maintain a high level of knowledge and technical understanding of all DPS processing systems (DPS Core DPS Forward) and value-added products and services. The Sales Engineering Manager will lead the necessary solutioning activities including white boarding sessions help position the pitch and present directly to clients in support of net new DPS wins and client retention.
In this role collaboration is key and the successful candidate will represent Sales Engineering on multiple cross functional teams including internal product steering committees.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge across all Issuer Solutions and Value-Added Services with a focus on API products and new/emerging DPS technologies and product offerings (i.e. Forward).
- Organize and lead client ideation and API white-boarding sessions with net new prospects and existing clients.
- Create client specific comprehensive documentation for technical discussions during pre-sell ideation process.
- Support the net new sales team throughout the sales cycle including collaborative client presentations (on-site and virtually).
- Support the cross sales effort to increase Visa processing volume and expand penetration of Visa processing and solutions by building customized materials to position Visa and DPS as the best partner.
- Work across product teams to gain knowledge and create materials to lead knowledge sharing sessions ensuring sales teams are well educated and up to date on all Value Added Services products and services.
- Lead efforts to collaborate with third party providers to further understand DPS opportunities roadmap development and integration with mutual clients. (Mobile app providers Host/Core providers).
- Actively participate in RFP Process and updating the Responsive content tool.
- Foster in-depth and productive relationships at all levels with clients and within Visa.
- Support various ad-hoc internal projects as assigned.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Experience with Payment Industry required.
- Experience with related sales product and/or management experience in the payments industry preferred.
- Proven track record of successful sales and/or relationship management.
- Experience in executing effective sales strategies for new payment products and services preferred.
- Proven ability to implement strategic initiatives with efficiency professionalism and with demonstrated trouble shooting/problem solving skills.
- Experience with FI relationships analysis finance and reporting.
- Ability to manage & grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships.
- Ability to communicate and manage relationships with all levels of the clients organization.
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with high level of success/achievement.
- Ability to travel as needed to ensure adequate on-site interaction with the client.
- Exceptional customer service and advocacy experience and mindset.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint Postman or equivalent.
