Martlesham Preschoolare seeking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner.
You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities within preschool helping children learn and develop through their play and be responsible for key children and supporting them and their families throughout their time at preschool.
You will need:
- a minimum full and relevant level 3 Early Years qualification or willing to work towards a qualification as an apprentice
- experience of working within a childcare setting of working directly with children and parents or experience whilst training
- to be able to work as part of a team and use initiative
- to offer flexibility in your availability to cover sessions at short notice
- to be willing to attend training if needed
- to have a positive attitude and good communication skills
- understanding of the EYFS framework Ofsted and Safeguarding
- the ability to help provide a nurturing learning environment working with other staff and parents for best outcomes.
About us
We are a small friendly preschool located within Martlesham for children aged 2-4 years open term time between the hours of 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday. We also offer some holiday club dates throughout the year; it would be desirable if you were able to support some of these dates too.
Due to an increase in our numbers we are looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our small team we would also consider taking on an apprentice.
