The Tribe Reliability IT Risk & Security (RIRS) is part of the Finance & Risk domain and is responsible for the day-to-day support of management and the DevOps teams from an operational perspective enabling Finance & Risk to implement and run the Global CISO and Global Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) & Resilience practices accordingly. The Tribe consists of 3 teams: Expert Operations and SRE

Were currently hiring for an Business Control Specialist within our Reliability IT Risk & Security this role youll serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders assisting them with operational IAM issues as well as translating complex IAM risks into clear actionable guidance that enables them to identify and mitigate risks effectively.

Youll operate as a First Line of Defence (1LoD) risk specialist working closely with DevOps professionals Global Identity & Access Management and our 2LoD colleagues. Together we keep ING ahead of the curve in risk management. Join us and help shape the future of IT risk & Security management!

The team
The Expert team consist of Risk & Security experts which are supporting the Finance & Risk entity on IT Risk & Security topics. The IT R&S Expert team in close collaboration with the DevOps teams and the IT R&S Operations team focuses on the day-to-day management and execution of IT risk and security tasks.

Furthermore the team steers the execution of the Risk Opinion and First Line Monitoring and improvement activities that coincide with the execution of IT security controls. The members are typically experienced they have diverse interdisciplinary technical IT risk and/or IT security backgrounds.

Roles and responsibilities
What are we looking for
The ideal candidate has Expertise in authorization design and validation and hands on experience with IAM tools (SOLLAR ADG Active Directory Azure Linux & BoKS AMYNA ETL One Identity ServiceNow). Is able to support DevOps teams with IAM issues and overall security journey by providing expert guidance and consultancy and can show teams how to setup their IAM landscape in such a way that the DevOps teams are working according to the ING policies within Risk Appetite and are working in line with the vision of the global CISO domain.

We are looking for a subject matter expert on platforms like Windows Linux and Oracle with a focus on the security and authorization design. Preferably the candidate has multiple years of hands-on experience as administrator on such platforms. Cloud IAM Security knowledge is a pré.

You are a driven IT security specialist with excellent IT / platform security knowledge and the ability to diagnose and resolve ambiguous problems. You have very good social and communication skills. You work together with your colleagues across your domain. You have a have a no nonsense getting-things-done mentality.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of directory services and infrastructure for Windows and Unix systems.

  • Expertise in authorization design and validation.

  • Experience with IT risk metrics and risk governance frameworks.

  • Familiarity with IAM processes in complex regulated environments.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Roles and responsibilities

  • IAM Operational Expertise

    • Review authorization models for Finance & Risk applications.

    • Support teams in HPA usage and enforce best practices for privileged access.

    • Support IAM architecture for on-premises and cloud environments (Azure preferred).

    • Providing IAM support explanations and workshops customized to the needs of the F&R DevOps teams.

    • Integrate IAM solutions with Windows and Unix infrastructures.

  • Risk & Compliance

    • Monitor the risk score of F&R and support the entity to be within Risk Appetite.

    • Participate in the Risk Opinion process for PG3 ensuring a correct and complete assessment of IAM metrics and controls.

    • Review IAM risk metrics and manage the remediation of issues resulting from the metrics

    • Collaborate with Dev/Ops and risk officers to address IAM-related findings and remediation plans.

    • Contribute to audits and compliance reviews for IAM processes.

    • Linking pin between the global CISO organization and the F&R community.

    • Perform Deep dives to identify root causes behind IAM control defects

    • You are a trusted advisor who knows how to handle discussions with different stakeholders

  • Broad understanding of IT Risk & Security with a focus on IAM processes and technologies.

  • Most preferable candidate worked previously as a Security / Senior OPS engineer within the ING.

  • Your key competencies: excellent team player persistent service oriented customer centric eager to learn willing to take ownership.

  • You love to deep dive technology searching for root causes of issues and incidents and to resolve them.

  • 3 years of system administrator experience (either Windows Linux or Oracle) preferably in defining authorisations policies etc.

  • Preferably one or more advanced Security certifications demonstrating a broad knowledge of the information security field such as; CISSP SCCP ISSAP CISA CISM GSEC.

  • Preferably knowledge and experience with One Identity and CyberArk.

  • Great English communication skills verbal as well as written.

  • Natural motivation and drive to take end-to-end ownership.

  • Curiosity to always look for innovation opportunities.
