The school has invested significantly in IT infrastructure with specialist ICT suites devices for students and a strong culture of digital learning.
Computer Science Department Insight
Computer Science is a popular subject at KS4 with increasing interest at KS5. The department has a supportive Head of Department and a small but dynamic team who share resources and encourage experimentation with new technologies coding challenges and enrichment clubs.
The Role
- Teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 using established schemes of work
- Developing engaging lessons in areas such as programming algorithms and data representation
- Supporting coding clubs digital literacy activities or STEM projects where possible
Ideal Candidate
A Computer Science ECT with strong subject knowledge a willingness to develop their classroom practice and a genuine interest in engaging students with digital skills.
