Job Summary

A high-achieving Grammar School in York is seeking a driven ECT Science Teacher to join its Science department from January 2026.

About the Role:
This full-time position includes teaching Science across KS3KS4 with opportunities to develop a subject specialism while working alongside experienced practitioners.

The school serves around 1000 students including a strong Sixth Form and is Ofsted rated Outstanding. It offers a calm structured environment ideal for ECT development supported by excellent laboratory facilities.

Holds a Science-related degree
Has QTS (or pending award)
Is confident delivering practical lessons
Is organised and eager to develop
