We are looking for3 Senior DirectorsData and Analyticstobe responsible forleadingthe data analytics strategy and management for3 teams: Digital Data & Strategy; Wealth Management Operations and Risk; and Advice Distribution and Solutionswithin ourAWMdivision.The Senior Directorwill bean executive leader who combines technicalexpertisewith business acumen and hasproven experiencein spearheading transformative analytics capabilitiesto shape the future of our investor experienceleveragingcutting-edgedata insights tooptimizeinvestment outcomes and enhance client satisfactionfor our AWM clients.Thisleaders innovative approach will guide our analytics team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities

Determineand oversee theAWMstrategy and program for the adoption and implementation ofdivisionalanalytics tools. Develop andmaintainstrategic plans to ensuredatatools and approaches meet evolving business demands.Leverage AWM andenterprise-wide analyticsand datacapabilities;identifygapsthenproposeand implementsolutions.
Develop strong partnershipswith business partners toestablishefficient analytics and business intelligence tools frameworks and capabilities. Educate business leaders about self-service tools and provide support for teams as they stand up internal functions.
Partner and consult with senior management to deliverAWM levelanalytical insightsand metricson Vanguards strategy and client base. Delivery theleadershipdashboard withKPIsthathelp informactionable insights and strategic direction.
Hire build and scale teams withexpertisein advanced analytics data engineering analytics consulting and business acumen. Oversee training strategy to foster development of analytical acumen for crew and leaders across Vanguard.Set performance standards review performance and make informed compensation decisionsin accordance withall applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
Stay ahead of industry market and company trends. Ensures that Vanguards use of analytics tools is scalable and sustainable. Serve as a leader of Vanguards analytics community andcontributestoexpertise.RepresentsVanguard in external industry events and proactively forms external relationships to bring innew ideas technology and talents.
Participate in the development of theAWMbudget including the identification of technology investments and budget allocation to support these tools. Review expenses and ensure unitoperateswithin budgetary guidelines.

What It Takes

10 years of experience in dataand analytics withdeep knowledgeoffinancialservices sector.
Experiencebuilding andleadingteams of Data Analysts and Researchers within a global matrix organization.
Deepexpertisein data platforms (cloud-native distributed computing data lakes/warehouses streaming) APIsMCPsand metadata management.
Familiarity with AI/ML modeldevelopmentdeploymentand advanced analytics integration into production systemsfor clients and advisor teams.
Proficientunderstandingand shapingdata governance best practices across a complex organization.Energized to partner with data owners to clean or enhance data to ensureascalableanalyticsfoundationand toolingcan be built.
Demonstrated intellectual curiosity anddesire forcontinuous improvement.
