Job Summary

Band: Main Scale 3 to UPS Actual Salary:
1.00 fte plus TRLR2 (8610)

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Head of Physics to lead and further develop the schools progressive Physics department.

This is a key post and the person we are seeking will:
Work closely with the Leadership Team to drive forward teaching and learning across the department.
Be proactive creative and adaptive in bringing the best out of the Physics team.
Use their love of science along with excellent coaching and mentoring abilities to collaboratively build a culture of academic excellence in Physics in which every student believes they can succeed.
Have the capacity to gain knowledge and understanding of national and regional education issues relating to PhysiAcs.
Have excellent communication skills.
Have the ability to organise lead and motivate other staff.
Be willing to go the extra mile to support school development plans.
