Australian Venue Co. is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Management Accounting team. Youll play a key role in delivering accurate month-end reporting analysing venue performance and partnering with stakeholders across the business to drive better decision-making.
What Youll Do
Month-End Reporting
- Prepare monthly venue P&Ls
- Review and reconcile F&B sales and COGS
- Analyse labour costs and operating expenses
- Prepare accruals and investigate variances
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders
Weekly Performance Analysis
- Review weekly P&Ls against budget
- Identify favourable/unfavourable variances
- Highlight risks trends and improvement areas
Business Partnering
- Build strong relationships across finance venues and department heads
- Contribute to team meetings and improvement initiatives
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Prepare monthly reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve material reconciling items

Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Finance/Accounting
- Part CA/CPA preferred
- 3 years experience in a large or mid-tier firm or similar industry role
- Confident with accounting systems intermediate Excel
