This Spring Internship is from January 12 20 or 26 2026 through April 24 2026 (start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules) and all candidates must be able to work 10-29 hours/week in person in the specified office location. This position is ideal for a student enrolled in an accredited college or university interested in continuing their education through professional experience.
New Media Distribution seeks to find innovative ways to bring consumers attention to SPE content via cutting edge technology. The department is further split into Tech Commercial and Programming teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Storefront Merchandising: Collaborate with the Programming and Merchandising team with planning and implementing storefront promotions and placements across multiple platforms and global markets. This includes compiling translations sourcing and prepping artwork and promotional assets.
Content Programming: Assist in the content curation and editorial calendar planning for monthly storefront refreshes across each platform. Support the team with quarterly SVOD title selections for both domestic and international
FAST Programming: Support FAST Team in assisting with channel QC market research data review and any marketing needs
System Improvements: Assist with creating efficiencies & improvements to CMS tools
Other: Offer general support for any ad hoc projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
Major or focus in media television communications film or business
Currently enrolled in school or university during the duration of the internship with relevant education in a related field
Knowledge of entertainment new media & technology
Basic PC skills (Outlook MS Word Excel PowerPoint etc.)
Strong organizational skills multi-tasking & attention to detail essential
Strong communication (verbal/written) skills
The ability to work well with others and collaborate across the organization to achieve department goals
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Passionate and knowledgeable about film/TV and the digital media landscape
Stays current with pop culture and industry trends
Proactive and attentive to project deadlines
Knowledge of basic Adobe Photoshop or similar programs a strong plus
Entrepreneurial spirit and attitude professional courage initiative and innovation
