Manager of Data and Analytics Contract to Hire Hybrid in St. Louis MO

You understand the power of data and know how to structure it to make any organization smarter. More importantly youre passionate about how the data you shape makes human lives better a noble mission these days.

Weve been asked to identify an individual who is part data analyst part business analyst and part project manager. Youll join a nonprofit organization that for many years has helped shape young lives and families and needs your expertise to help them touch even more lives. Youll be their first-ever in-house data leader responsible for data strategy management and analytics; serving as the data management and analytics subject-matter expert and helping departments manage their data and support their analytics needs. There are no direct reports its you and your ideas and skills. Youll strategize while being hands-on and working with a vendor partner for implementation. Over time you can build an in-house team that will eventually transition them into a true data-driven organization.

Pay - The contract phase of the role will be short (likely 3-4 months) after which you will convert to permanent employee status with our client. During the contract phase youll work 40 hours per week paid hourly. Once you convert to permanent status youll have a salary in the 110-120k range plus benefits. Youll report directly to the CFO.

Schedule: Hybrid on-site at their St. Louis HQ 1-3 days per week (flexible).

Required - You must currently reside in the St. Louis area and have at least 5 years of enterprise data experience. Expert-level SQL Python or R experience along with data analytics data strategy and data mapping. ETL Tableau or Power BI are a plus. You must be a great communicator who can simplify complex subjects while building relationships at all levels of the organization. If you have experience applying your craft in a non-profit mission-driven organization all the better!
