About the Role
We are seeking a Psychologist to provide psychological assessment therapy and behavioral health support to older adults in a designated senior care facility. This autonomous onsite role istwo days per week offering meaningful impact with excellent worklife balance.
You will collaborate closely with the facilitys Director of Nursing attending physicians and MPAC clinicians to improve mental health outcomes and enhance the quality of life for residents.
What Youll Do
Conduct Psychological assessments/Neuropsychological assessments and provide diagnostic impressions
Deliver individual therapy and behavioral interventions
Document thoroughly in EMRs and MPAC systems
Collaborate with facility staff to support patient care plans
Provide guidance on behavioral strategies and cognitive concerns
Build rapport with residents and facility teams
Adapt effectively within a dynamic senior care environment
Key Requirements
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology
Active Florida Psychologist License
Ability to work in the United States
Experience in skilled nursing/geriatric psychology preferred
Strong communication and independent clinical decision-making skills
Reliable compassionate and mission-driven
