Network Support Engineer Virtual Assistant

Virtual Rockstar is hiring a full-time Network Support Engineer / Network Administrator on behalf of our client a rapidly expanding telecommunications company providing high-performance internet and fixed wireless services. Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 23 remote support to customers and Field Services teams through calls tickets and internal communication platforms.
  

• Troubleshoot fixed wireless PTP/PTMP equipment and link issues.
  

• Support routing and switching environments using Cisco and MikroTik equipment.
  

• Perform proactive and reactive network monitoring and maintenance.
  

• Execute configuration-level changes while following established approval processes.
  

• Utilize ticketing systems hardware configuration interfaces and controller software to manage customer and network needs.
  

• Document troubleshooting steps configurations engineering updates and network designs clearly and accurately.
  

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely high-quality resolution of customer issues.
  

• Participate in an on-call rotation for escalations and after-hours emergencies.
  

Requirements

• 3 years of hands-on networking or fixed wireless support experience.
  

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (non-negotiable).
  

• Strong troubleshooting abilities across Layer 2/3 networks.
  

• 2 years of experience with routing protocols.
  

• Experience with Tarana Ubiquiti or similar fixed wireless platforms (PTP/PTMP).
  

• Proficiency with Cisco IOS and/or MikroTik RouterOS.
  

• Ability to work independently during U.S. business hours (PST).
  

Preferred Certifications (any of the following):

• CCNA / CCNP / CCIE
  

• MTCNA / MTCRE / MTCINE
  

• JNCIS-SP / JNCIE
  

• UEWA
