Job Summary
Job Title: Manager Jewellery Showroom
Role Overview
The Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the jewellery showroom ensuring smooth functioning across sales customer service staff management and inventory control. The role demands strong leadership customer-handling skills and the ability to drive sales performance while maintaining showroom standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the jewellery showroom to ensure efficiency and high service quality.
Supervise sales staff allocate duties and ensure all team members meet sales targets.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
Ensure excellent customer service grievance handling and timely resolution of issues.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase footfall and revenue.
Manage inventory stock movement display arrangements and replenishment as required.
Ensure compliance with security procedures and safety guidelines within the showroom.
Conduct staff training on sales techniques product knowledge and customer engagement.
Coordinate with management for pricing promotions and marketing initiatives.
Maintain showroom hygiene visual merchandising and brand presentation standards.
Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and operational updates for senior management.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Commerce Retail Management or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in showroom management ideally in jewellery or luxury retail.
Strong knowledge of gold diamond and gemstone categories is an added advantage.
Skills Required
Excellent leadership and team-handling abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Customer-focused approach with strong sales acumen.
Competence in inventory management and stock control.
Ability to manage pressure and handle high-value customer transactions.
Good understanding of retail operations billing and showroom systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability.
Basic computer proficiency (MS Office POS systems).
