The Role
rybka Group is looking for a Mechanical Designer or Engineer to join our growing buildings team and help shape the future of sustainable high-performance buildings.. This role is suited to experienced intermediate professionals ready to take on more responsibility or senior engineers looking to lead and mentor within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
As part of our multidisciplinary team you will:
- Lead or contribute to the design of HVAC plumbing and mechanical systems for diverse building projects.
- Develop detailed designs specifications and technical drawings in coordination with architects structural engineers and other consultants.
- Perform system calculations equipment selection and energy modeling.
- Support project delivery from concept through construction including site reviews and commissioning support.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the development of best practices.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design for buildings.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Revit and mechanical design/calculation software.
- Strong understanding of building codes standards and sustainable design principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Eligible for or currently holding . or CET designation.
- Experience with energy modelling LEED or Net Zero Project will be considered as an asset.
