We are looking to hire a third or fourth year undergraduate student for our System Engineer Intern role.
You will:
- Work with cutting edge timing devices to validate functionality of digital logic.
- Create Python automation tests for timing devices to catch corner cases bugs or stress test devices.
- Work with various pieces of lab equipment (frequency counters frequency generators Oscilloscopes) to debug and analyze device functionality.
- Work with digital design and software teams to debug devices and determine improvements for device drivers.
- Build on existing driver software to communicate with and manipulate internal digital logic.
- Preparing and reviewing documentation.
Qualifications :
- Working towards an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering Electronics or similar degree 3rd or 4th year students only. - (Must not have graduated before September 2026)
- Python programming experience or programming concept knowledge.
- Ability to problem solve and seek knowledge when presented with unknown concepts.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to communicate issues concisely and effectively.
- Candidate must be excited to work with a growing team across multiple sites from the east to west coast.
- Preferred some knowledge of analog and DC circuit design.
- Preferred knowledge of lab equipment; power supplies oscilloscopes etc.
- Preferred knowledge of serial communications; SPI I2C SMBus etc.
- Preferred Soldering skills are a plus but not necessary for day-to-day operations.

This posting is for a new vacancy. The expected hourly pay range for this position is $26/hr - $31/hr. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that the final offer amount including any applicable bonuses will be dependent on geographic location relevant experience and skillset of the candidate.
