We are seeking passionate and dedicated veterans to join us for the inaugural year of our Freeman Fellowship Program designed to empower individuals who have served in the military and support their transition to civilian career paths. This Fellowship offers an opportunity for veterans to apply their unique leadership strategic and problem-solving skills within our dynamic environment while gaining professional experience and valuable industry exposure.Program OverviewOur Fellowship Program is a short-term paid opportunity that provides professional training and structured on-the-job experience with the opportunity to join full-time as a Production Project Manager after successful completion of the program. Participants will experience a rotational schedule with the purpose of gaining exposure in multiple areas of the business within our Audio Visual division (AVETA) and receive specialized industry project management training.Key ComponentsThroughout the program Fellows will:- Experience a rotational schedule gaining exposure into areas such as Operations Safety Logistics Audio Video and Systems.

Program DetailsDates: Feb 2nd May 15th 2026Length: 15 WeeksCommitment:40 hours/ weekschedule will varyLocation: ChicagoProduction Project ManagerRole SummaryThis role involves working with clients and internal teams to manage all phases of event production from planning through execution while ensuring adherence to budget client expectations and company standards. Responsibilities include creating technical diagrams supervising on-site operations and labor maintaining production schedules and driving cross-functional alignment through active participation in key meetings.Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients Growth (sales) staff Operations on-site Execution and Regional Business Operations teams to coordinate pre-production on-site and post-production activities in line with event budget. .
- Creates diagrams for shows based on budgeted designs; coordinates with all disciplines to ensure all design and technical specifications are represented in the diagram; and ensure on-site personnel have and understand this information.
- Ensure Freeman standards and policies are being followed.
- Assists in the scheduling and/or recommending of personnel to optimize resources.
- Oversees load-in install operation of dismantle and load-out of equipment.
- Oversee Execution staff on-site ensuring adherence to budget client specifications and Freeman standards.
- Actively participate in meetings to ensure Execution Inventory Control (IC) Design Regional Operations teams etc. are up to speed and moving forward (Scoping Calls Kickoff Calls Design Calls Pre-Con Meetings Daily Site Meetings Load Out Meetings Debrief Meetings).
- Support execution staff through pre-production and on-site workflows.
- Coordinate with Growth and Scenic Design teams to ensure scenic elements meet budget and client expectations.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Production Schedule for the General Session; ensure Workfront Production Workbooks (PWBs) and Box directories are kept up to date for assigned projects.
- Confirm logistics for thier assigned area and colloborates with the Project Owner to find effeciences across the area and event.
- Coordinates and supervises on-site labor.
- Analyze budgets specifications and client needs; provide recommendations for improvements to Growth and the Project Owner.
