Information Technology Solutions Analyst

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The Information Technology (IT) Solutions Analyst position serves as the liaison between the business and technical staff. This position will work closely with various departments to understand their IT needs and assist the IT Agile team in the design development testing delivery and support of solutions to streamline operations improve security mitigate risk maintain compliance and support the organizations strategic objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assume the Product Owner role on the IT Agile team.

2. Collaborate with business units to gather and analyze their IT requirements and translate them into effective solutions.

3. Collaborate with the Agile IT Team to develop detailed IT solution designs that address business needs and align with the organizations strategic goals.

4. Assist in the implementation of IT solutions ensuring they are integrated smoothly with existing systems.

5. Collaborate with the Agile team to ensure thorough testing of IT solutions and the creation of regression test cases and ensure all acceptance criteria has been met. Work with the stakeholders to ensure thorough testing in the UAT environment and facilitate migration to production and ensure that a backup/recovery plan is in place.

6. Ensure that comprehensive documentation for IT solutions is being created and maintained including design specifications user guides and training materials.

7. Ensure that the solutions risk is identified and mitigated comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

8. Ensure that the appropriate security measures are in place to protect sensitive data and ensure the solutions integrity.

9. Provide support to end-users during and after the implementation of IT solutions addressing any issues that arise.

10. Stay informed about the latest IT trends and technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.

11. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

12. Complete required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned.

13. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Technical degree required in such disciplines as Computer Engineering CPA etc. plus 4 years related experience and/or training and 2 years related management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to read analyze and understand general business/company related articles and professional journals; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. ability to write reports business correspondence and policy/procedure manuals; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public. Ability to read analyze and understand common scientific and technical journals financial reports and legal documents; ability to respond to complex or difficult inquiries or complaints from customers regulatory agencies or members of the business community.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions ratios and proportions to practical situations.

CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS

Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Somewhat disagreeable working conditions. Continuously exposed to one or two elements such as noise intermittent standing walking pushing carrying or lifting. May involve some travel and/or work is at times in the evening or during the night hours.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Required proficiencies:

- Experience with various Applications utilized in a regional banking environment
- Experience with audit and compliance requirements
- Experience with best practices to proactively identify and mitigate risk associated with solutions
