As a Vice President in the Wind Down team within Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) Treasury you will lead planning for the orderly wind down of trading and derivative activities ensuring the firm is prepared for resolution events. You will play a key role in US and local recovery planning manage wind down planning for UK and European entities and oversee regulatory this role you will develop materials for senior stakeholders refine methodologies and lead a team in the UK supporting initiatives that enhance the firms regulatory readiness and strategic priorities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 3 based in the Poland
  • Lead the delivery of the firmwide wind down of trading and derivative activity (Orderly Wind Down or OWD)
  • Lead the CIB book of work on Resolution Financial Analytics (RFA) including regulatory submissions to US Agencies
  • Lead local wind down planning for EMEA entities included in Recovery planning submissions
  • Ensure compliance with capabilities set out in the Bank of Englands Valuation Capabilities in Support of Resolvability policy
  • Develop of materials to present results to senior stakeholders across the book of work
  • Review and refinement of the approaches and methodologies in all areas of responsibility
  • Support the Capabilities lead in the development of new functionality

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

  • Experience managing a team
  • Working knowledge of markets products including derivatives pricing and P&L securities or secured financing
  • Experience in market or counterparty credit risk or valuations
  • Experience developing qualitative models and conducting model reviews
  • Demonstrated analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with experience engaging multiple functions and locations
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (including PitchPro)
  • Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently
  • Ability to coordinate and perform detailed analysis independently and collaboratively
