This role is pivotal to ensuring seamless communication with a single point of contact (POC) managing large-scale roadside operations and driving client satisfaction and team performance in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Client and Account Management
- Oversee a $4 million account including all roadside landscaping and maintenance for the Miami Expressway.
- Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for the client ensuring clear and consistent communication.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships providing proactive updates and addressing concerns promptly.
- Set and manage client expectations with a focus on exceptional service and results.
Team Leadership and Operations
- Manage a 30-person crew responsible for roadside maintenance and landscaping operations.
- Direct on-site teams ensuring high productivity safety and quality standards across all projects.
- Build rapport with the production team to foster a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Learn and navigate the intricacies of the road system and maintenance requirements for the Miami Expressway.
Hybrid Role
- Balance responsibilities between strategic account management and on-site operational leadership.
- Ensure alignment between client goals and crew performance driving operational excellence.
- Provide leadership in managing budgets schedules and resources effectively.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in landscape maintenance and account management particularly in large-scale roadside or highway operations.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage crews of 30 or more while overseeing complex accounts.
- Client-Centric: Polished and professional with excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Operational Expertise: Skilled in managing budgets schedules and resources to achieve operational and financial goals.
- Nimble and Strategic: Adaptable in dynamic environments with a strong ability to set and communicate clear expectations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Horticulture Landscape Architecture Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 5 years in account management and operational leadership in landscape maintenance or a related industry.
Skills:
- Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in managing crews and overseeing large-scale operations.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Aspire software and roadside maintenance best practices.
Other Requirements:
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
