Job Summary
The candidate will join the Finance team and will be responsible for the main activities related to the monthly closures of the 4 companies of Auto1 Group and will also be the main point of reference of the department for the new special projects requested by HQ.
Qualifications :
Your Profile:
- Post-secondary education in Finance/Accounting (e.g. MSc in Finance CCA or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Accountant ideally within an international organization or previous experience in audit (Big Four) for at least 2-3 years .
- Strong knowledge of reporting tools including Excel (Google Sheets is a plus). Experience with accounting software (Oracle or similar) and proficiency in year-end closing VAT and tax reporting.
- Detail-oriented methodical and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills. Comfortable working independently and taking on large-scale responsibilities.
- Fluency in English is essential both written and spoken.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting activities for our italian operations ensuring accurate financial reporting according to both local and group standards.
- Review analyze and ensure the reliability of financial information making necessary corrections and adjustments.
- Lead and coordinate monthly and annual financial closings.
- Manage and validate intercompany transactions ensuring reconciliation between entities.
- Prepare and submit external and internal reports to group HQ.
- Drive process improvements by strengthening and documenting existing financial procedures automating repetitive tasks to focus on high-value activities.
- Lead and participate in various strategic projects ensuring alignment with the companys goals and continuous improvements in financial efficiency.
- Support internal audits and annual tax filings ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Serve as one of the key point of contact for auditors banks and other financial institutions.

Shifts include a total of 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday 09:00-18:00.
