Purpose of the role
We are looking for a Head of Sales & Marketing HK to build Commercial Leadership and Sales Excellence within BSI Sales team in Hong Kong focusing on developing and growing BSI business.
The role will deliver strategic sales growth in Hong Kong and increase BSI market share by developing reviewing and implementing the Sales Strategic plan and effectively leading the sales team to deliver planned growth within defined sectors.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
- Lead and develop Hong Kong Sales Team by creating an inclusive collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Create and execute Sales strategy to penetrate and grow BSI Assurance business within all industry sectors with primarily focusing on ICT Finance Sustainability Built Construction Manufacturing in Hong Kong.
- Manage the sales pipeline of leads from Marketing/Business Development and other sources across the business qualifying and pursuing opportunities that are both attractive and can be won together with retaining existing business and maximising upsell opportunities across out client portfolio.
- Responsible for day-to-day Sales management and performance of Hong Kong Sales team including Salesforce discipline pipeline management reporting and execution of client acquisition actions.
- Lead the daily sales operations and work closely with internal Quality & Compliance team to ensure compliance to governance procedures ensuring appropriate transparency consistency timeliness and compliance to all policies and procedures.
- Oversee the bids & tenders activity reviewing client feedback and market intelligence to drive improvements in process and increased conversion rates.
- Identify market opportunities by identifying client requirements; competitors share and competitors strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business growth; establishing targeted market share.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the business strategy and multi-year plan providing commercial thought leadership.
- Develop and agree baseline performance targets (Budget F1 F2 and F3) together with the Finance Director in line with agreed business strategy and wider BSI performance expectations.
- Develop and agree accurate financial trading forecasts with Greater China Sales Director taking responsibility for meeting expectations of forecast accuracy.
Language requirements: English Cantonese Mandarin
Person Specification
- Experience in professional service industry such as consulting financial services certification technical or B2B services industry is preferred
- Proven sales leadership experiences solid experience in sales & marketing field with good track record.
- Capability to build sales channels and channel partners; Build and maintain good relationship with all strategic channels
- Able to communicate present and influence at all levels within an organization including C level
- Good command of customer relationship exploration maintenance and development.
- Self-discipline with good planning and organizing capabilities
- Analytical in data clear and open-minded
- Exemplify a high level of compliance in accordance with the business requirements
- Self-motivated with working under pressure
- Result driven
- Strong ethics and discipline
- A willingness to embrace and lead change in an exciting innovative business
