Product Design Director

We are seeking a visionary and innovative Product Design Director to join our this leadership role you will drive the product design strategy and oversee a talented team of designers to create exceptional user experiences for our cutting-edge products.

• Lead and mentor a team of product designers fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration
• Develop and implement product design strategies aligned with business goals and user needs
• Oversee the entire design process from concept to launch ensuring high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management engineering and marketing
• Conduct user research and analyze market trends to inform design decisions
• Present design concepts and strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Establish and maintain design standards guidelines and best practices
• Drive continuous improvement in design processes and methodologies
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in product design

The average base salary pay range for this position is $150000 to $170000.

In this role you may work remotely as long as you are located within the lower 48 states of the US. 

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Design Human-Computer Interaction or related field; Masters degree preferred
• 7 years of experience in product design with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of successful product launches and driving design innovation
• Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g. Sketch Figma Adobe XD)
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design best practices and the product development lifecycle
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate design decisions
• Experience in conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design solutions
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor design teams fostering a collaborative work environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven design decisions
• Up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape in product design
