Job Title: Data Product Owner/ Data Strategy
Location: NY City NY
Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Strategy professional who will act as the Data Product Owner for newly formed data teams. This role requires a strong balance of business understanding technical knowledge and project leadership to ensure high-quality data solutions are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Data Product Owner for assigned data teams
- Understand and translate business requirements into clear data and technical acceptance criteria
- Collaborate closely with engineering and architecture teams to implement approved solutions
- Own data product delivery from requirement definition through sign-off
- Manage project timelines dependencies and risks to keep initiatives on track
- Communicate project status milestones and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership
- Prepare and deliver presentations for leadership and governance forums
- Ensure delivered solutions meet quality governance and compliance standards
