Technology Assurance Analyst
Howdens have a new opportunity for a Technology Assurance Analyst to join our Technology Assurance team.
This is a permanent position based onsite 4 days per week with 1 from home and working from either our site in Howden Yorkshire or Raunds in Northamptonshire.
What will I be doing
- Support the Technology functions risk and compliance agenda.
- Track coordinate and drive timely completion of audit actions from internal and external audits.
- Ensure robust control environment with strong governance compliance and risk management.
- Provide regular progress updates and highlight emerging issues to senior stakeholders.
- Work across business units to build strong relationships and influence at all levels.
- Resolve open actions efficiently and enhance assurance processes.
- Promote accountability and continuous improvement within the Technology organisation.
What we need from you
- Experience in technology assurance risk management audit and/or compliance
- Familiarity with risk management audit and/or compliance concepts and processes
- Confident engaging colleagues at all levels
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Good understanding of technology systems processes and controls
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint).
- Awareness of cybersecurity principles and data protection requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and regulatory requirements
Advanced degrees or professional certifications are advantages these include
- ISACAs Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC)
- BCS Foundation Certificate in Information Security Management Principles
- Microsoft Certified: Security Compliance and Identity Fundamentals
