The Opportunity
Incumbentmust be resourcefulindependentand accountable for the accuracy and timelinessonall related tasks inNewBusiness UnderwritingDepartment. Incumbent is expected to meet datelines and deliver the expected results. Any error or delay in processing willimpactcompanyreputation and service standard.
Position Responsibilities:
Ensure applications are underwrittenup to conferred authority andas per the agreed TAT
Ensure that underwriting decisionscomplywiththe company underwriting guideline
Act asbackup for other team members when needed
Counter signing applications which are referred by junior underwriters.
Involveand performUAT and projects
Handle enquiries within the agreed TAT
Prepare reportsandSOPs
Other administrative duties andassigned duties as and when required by the HOD
Required Qualifications:
Degree holder inScience BiomedicalScience Nursingand at least3 to 5years of related working experience.
Able to work long hours public holidays and weekends asrequired
Familiarity with working with AS400 systems and Microsoft Office.
