- Prepare monthly management accounts with accurate commentary and variance analysis.
- Develop annual and quarterly financial budgets forecasts and long-term projections.
- Manage cashflow planning monitoring and reporting to ensure financial stability.
- Perform general ledger maintenance reconciliations and month-end close processes.
- Oversee accounts payable accounts receivable banking and asset management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards internal controls and company policies.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with operational teams to track revenue cost control and profitability across outlets or business units.
- Assist with external audits tax submissions and statutory requirements.
- Identify process improvements and implement more efficient financial workflows.
Qualifications & Experience
- BCom in Accounting or equivalent (essential).
- 510 years experience in a similar accounting role preferably within the hospitality hotel restaurant
- Strong experience in preparing budgets management accounts and cashflow reports.
- Proficient in accounting software (Sage Pastel) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Able to work independently meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
- Highly detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven approach.
